The first Van Duuren truck 100 years ago!

Hanging on the wall in our office is this special photo of the very first Van Duuren truck, which hit the streets precisely 100 years ago. On the side of this wonderful vehicle you can read that our great-grandfather’s company provided transport services in the Leiden – Haarlem – Amsterdam area.

These days we go to Madrid, Stockholm and Sofia, but at heart we are still Van Duuren, a true family business. The term family business is often seen as being synonymous with craftsmanship, dedication and a personal approach, and throughout the years we have always continued to pursue these core values.

Such a wonderful old photograph fills us with pride. We are the fourth Van Duuren generation, and the love for our trade and for entrepreneurship was kindled in us at a very early age. Every day we enjoy being at the helm of our fantastic company, thanks to our valued clients and partners, and, of course, to our dedicated Van Duuren team. Here’s to the next 100 years!
