Van Duuren’s pan-European network will be strengthened with a new depot in the Italian region of Lombardy. The terminal of partner BRT Corriere Espresso at the Origgio site is fully operational and located less than 30 km from the Swiss border, at the strategic junction of the A8 Milano-Varese freeway with the A9 Milano-Como.

Jeroen van Duuren: “With this new hub of a partner with whom we work closely together, our network is even finer and we are getting even closer to the door of our final receivers”.

The new terminal in Origgio, in the Italian region of Lombardy, is less than 30 km from the Swiss border, at the strategic intersection of the A8 Milano-Varese freeway and the A9 Milano-Como. The hub covers a total area of 25,000 square meters, of which 8,500 square meters is warehouse space. Thanks to a more sophisticated sorter that can process approximately 9,000 parcels per hour, orders and deliveries in the new terminal can be carried out at a very high speed. BRT Corriere Espresso has put the new terminal on film.
