Driver Ciprian Cristea has not been driving very long for Van Duuren, but is already enjoying it immensely. “The journeys I make are always different. I actually go all over Europe, but more often I’m in Italy, France, England and Spain.
I always drive with trailers with the pin lock, an exceptionally good locking system. This means that I am more relaxed both when working and actually driving.”
Ciprian believes it’s important to eat well. “I cook my own food, which is usually traditional, because the Romanian way of cooking gives delicious results. My favourite is barbecue.’ In his cab hangs a photo of his wife and two
children, a son of twelve and a daughter of four.
I am often away from home for longer periods, mand miss them a lot. The holidays at home are always too short.”
