On the road: ”it feels like driving for a big family who we can count on when needed”

Father Dan aka Dolo (48) and son Andrei (23) have been driving together for Van Duuren since Andrei got his driving licence a year and a half ago. For Andrei, there is no better teacher than his father. For Dan, seeing the world together with his son is a dream come true.

Along the way, it is pleasant and they do all the chores together. Dan: “And if we have disagreements, we solve them with a beer during our daily break.” Andrei: “About food, we do think differently. My father is a food lover. I think it’s important that it’s healthy. Dan, though, is an excellent cook and a great singer.” Laughs: “Especially when he sings ‘I am an artist…in the kitchen’.”

Father and son drive all over Europe, but their favourite is Spain, where Dan’s older brother lives.  Both enjoy working for Van Duuren. Dan: “It feels like driving for a big family who we can count on when needed.”
