What will you do?

As a Planner, you will mainly focus on monitoring shipments and trips, tracking costs, and updating statuses. About 20% of your time will involve actual planning tasks. Together with your colleagues, you ensure that shipments arrive on time, administration is accurate, and customers are satisfied. You will work closely with colleagues, carriers, and our partners abroad.

Your tasks include:

  • Planning and organizing international transport within agreed margins and lead times
  • Responding quickly and solution-oriented to deviations or unexpected situations
  • Proactively informing partners and customers about the status of their shipments
  • Checking transport orders and margins and maintaining digital files
  • Ensuring that information on driving bans, holidays, and operational specifics is up to date
  • Coordinating and instructing warehouse staff and carriers
  • Maintaining a high level of service for our customers

Who are you?

You are analytical, have strong communication skills and can keep a cool head in a dynamic environment. You already have some experience in transport planning or logistics coordination and understand the importance of overview, service and efficiency in international logistics.

In addition, you have:

  • MBO+/HBO level of thinking and working, preferably in logistics
  • 2–5 years of experience in transport planning or logistics
  • International logistics experience and knowledge of the European road network
  • Good command of Dutch and English
  • Experience with planning systems and Microsoft Office
  • A proactive attitude, attention to detail, and no 9-to-5 mentality
